Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29628
Hadith #29628
Ismail bin Musa al-Kufi told us, Dawud bin al-Zabarqan told us, on the authority of Matar al-Warraq, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, the Messenger of God said, May the peace and blessings of God be upon him one day, he said to his companions, “Say, ‘Glory be to God and praise be to Him’ a hundred times. Whoever says it once, it will be recorded for him as ten times. And whoever says it once, it will be recorded for him as ten times. “Whoever says it ten times, it will be credited to him as a hundred, and whoever says it as a hundred, it will be credited to him as a thousand. And whoever increases it, God will increase it, and whoever asks forgiveness, God will forgive him.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith.
