Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29535

Al-Hussein bin Harith narrated to us, Al-Fadl bin Musa narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Saeed, he is Ibn Abi Hind, on the authority of Ziyad, the client of Ibn Ayyash, on the authority of Abu Bahria, on the authority of Abu al-Darda’, may God be pleased with him, said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds?” And it is the purest in the sight of your king, and the highest in your ranks, and it is better for you than spending gold and paper, and better for you than meeting your enemy. So strike their necks and they will strike yours.” They said, “Yes.” He said, “Remember God Almighty.” Then Muadh bin Jabal, may God be pleased with him, said: “What Nothing is more saved from the punishment of God than the remembrance of God. Abu Issa said, and some of them narrated this hadith on the authority of Abdullah bin Saeed, such as This is with this chain of transmission, and some of them narrated from him, so he sent it.
