حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَسْأَلُهُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ . قَالَ " سَلِ اللَّهَ الْعَافِيَةَ " . فَمَكَثْتُ أَيَّامًا ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَسْأَلُهُ اللَّهَ . فَقَالَ لِي " يَا عَبَّاسُ يَا عَمَّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ سَلِ اللَّهَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَدْ سَمِعَ مِنَ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ .
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Ubaidah bin Humaid told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib, he said, “I said, ‘O Messenger of God, teach me something that I may ask God Almighty for.’ He said, ‘Ask God for well-being.’ So I stayed.” A few days later, I came and said, “O Messenger of God, teach me something that I may ask God for.” He said to me, “O Abbas, uncle of the Messenger of God, ask God for good health in your life.” This world and the Hereafter. Abu Issa said this is an authentic hadith. Abdullah bin Al-Harith bin Nawfal heard from Al-Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib...
