Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29889

Al-Qasim bin Dinar Al-Kufi told us, he said, Abu Nu’aym told us, on the authority of Abd al-Salam bin Harb, on the authority of Yahya bin Sa’id, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to Ali, “You are to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that he does not A prophet after me.” This is a good and authentic hadith. It was narrated in more than one way, on the authority of Saad, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. It is surprising that this hadith is Hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari.
