Hadith #26947
Bishr bin Muadh Al-Aqdi Al-Basri narrated to us, Ayoub bin Waqid Al-Kufi narrated to us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever descends upon a people should not fast voluntarily except with their permission.” Abu Issa said this hadith. It is objectionable. We do not know of any trustworthy person who narrated this hadith on the authority of Hisham ibn Urwa. Musa ibn Dawud narrated it on the authority of Abu Bakr al-Madini. On the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, something like this. Abu Issa said, This is a weak hadith as well. And Abu Bakr is weak according to the scholars of hadith, and Abu Bakr Al-Madani, who narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, his name is Al-Fadl bin Mubashir, and he is More reliable than this and more ancient.
