حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ
" أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ لاَ نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, he said, Abu Ahmad told us, he said, Sharik told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to Ali, “You are to me what Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me.” He said. Abu Issa, this is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. On the authority of Saad, Zayd bin Arqam, Abu Hurairah, and Umm Salamah.
