حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مَا احْتَذَى النِّعَالَ وَلاَ انْتَعَلَ وَلاَ رَكِبَ الْمَطَايَا وَلاَ رَكِبَ الْكُورَ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفْضَلُ مِنْ جَعْفَرِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏‏ وَالْكُورُ الرَّحْلُ
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, he said, Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi told us, he said, Khaled al-Hadha’ told us, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said what He who wore sandals, did not wear shoes, nor rode a mountain or rode a ball after the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is better than Ja`far.
