Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29936

Khallad bin Aslam Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi told us, he said, Al-Nadr bin Shumail told us, he said Hisham bin Hassan told us, on the authority of Hafsa Bint Sirin, she said: Anas bin Malik told me, he said: I was with Ibn Ziyad and the head of Al-Hussein was brought and he started talking with his rod in his nose. And he says, “I have never seen anything like this.” Well, he did not mention it. He said, “I said, ‘He was one of those who most resembled the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.’” Abu Issa said. This is a good, true, and strange hadith.
