حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرْبَعَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ . قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ مَنْ أَبُو زَيْدٍ قَالَ أَحَدُ عُمُومَتِي . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, he said, Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us, he said, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said plural. The Qur’an at the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was taught by four people, all of them from the Ansar: Ubayy ibn Ka’b, Mu’adh ibn Jabal, Zayd ibn Thabit, and Abu Zayd. I told Anas from Abu Zaid. One of my cousins said. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
