Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29970

Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman told us, he said, Ishaq bin Issa told us, on the authority of Sharik, on the authority of Abu Yaqzan, on the authority of Zazan, on the authority of Hudhayfah, He said: They said, O Messenger of God, if you had left behind. He said: “If I left behind over you and you disobeyed him, you would be punished. But Hudhayfah did not tell you.” So believe him, and whatever Abdullah tells you, read it.” Abdullah said, “So I said to Ishaq bin Isa: They say this on the authority of Abu Wael.” He said: Not on the authority of Zazan, God willing. This is a hasan hadith and it is a hadith of a partner.
