Hadith #30022
Qutaibah narrated to us, he said, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubair, on the authority of Jabir, that a servant of Hatib ibn Abi Balta’ah came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He complained to a woodcutter, so he said, “O Messenger of God, let a woodcutter enter Hell.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “You lied, he will not enter it.” For he witnessed Badr and Al-Hudaybiyyah.” This is a good and authentic hadith.
