Ibrahim bin Yaqoub and Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, and the wording is by Ibn Yaqoub. They said, Yahya bin Hammad narrated to us, he said, Abdul Aziz narrated to us. Ibn Al-Mukhtar, Khaled Al-Hadha’ told us, on the authority of Abu Uthman Al-Nahdi, on the authority of Amr ibn Al-Aas, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He used it on the army of Dhat al-Salasil. He said, “So I came to him and said, ‘O Messenger of God, which of the people is most beloved to you?’ He said, ‘Aisha.’ I said, ‘Who?’” The men said, “Her father.” This is a good and authentic hadith.
