Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #30109

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, he said, Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, he said, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Jami’ bin Shaddad, on the authority of Safwan bin Mahrez, on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, said: A group of Banu Tamim came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “Rejoice, O Banu Tamim.” They said, “You have given us good tidings, so give us.” He said, “Then the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, changed, and a group of the people of Yemen came and said, ‘Accept the good news.’” “Banu Tamim will accept it.” They said, “We have accepted it.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
