Qutayba bin Saeed narrated to us, Bakr bin Mudar narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn al-Hadi, on the authority of Abdullah bin Khabab, on the authority of Abu Saeed al-Khudri, that He heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “If one of you sees a vision and loves it, then it is from God, so let him thank God for it.” And let him narrate what he saw, and if he sees other than that which he dislikes, then it is from Satan, so let him seek refuge in God from its evil and not mention it. “For anyone, it will not harm him.” He said, and on the authority of Abu Qatada. He said, “This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from this perspective.” And Ibn al-Hadi His name is Yazid bin Abdullah bin Usama bin Al-Haad Al-Madani, and he is trustworthy. Malik and people narrated from him.
