Hadith #37145
قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لما مات آدم غسلته الملائكة من الماء وتراً، ودفن في قبر الإبط، وقيل: هذه سنة آدم في ولده». (حكيم 4004، صح جامع 5207)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When Adam died, the angels bathed him with an odd number of water and he was buried in an armpit grave. And it was said, This is the Sunnah of Adam among his children." (Hakeem 4004, Sah Jame' 5207)
