Hadith #38117
وَعَنْ أسَامَةَ بنِ زَيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : أرْسَلَتْ إحْدى بَنَاتِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم إِلَيْهِ تَدْعُوهُ وَتُخْبِرُهُ أنَّ صَبِيَّاً لَهَا أَوْ ابْناً – فِي المَوْتِ فَقَالَ لِلرَّسُولِ اِرْجِعْ إِلَيْهَا فَأَخْبِرْهَا أَنَّ للهِ تَعَالَى مَا أخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أعْطَى وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمّى فَمُرْهَا فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ وذكر تمام الحديث متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
On the authority of Osama bin Zaid, may God be pleased with them both, he said: One of the daughters of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent to him to invite him and tell him that a boy was hers or A son - in death, so he said to the Messenger, “Go back to her and tell her that to God Almighty belongs what He takes, and to Him is what He gives, and everything is with Him.” At a specified time, so command her to be patient and seek reward. He mentioned the entire hadith. Agreed upon.
