Hadith #38491
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَقِيْلَ لَه مَازَالَ نَائِمًا حَتّى أَصْبَحَ مَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ: «ذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ بَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُذُنِه» أَو قَالَ: «فِي أُذُنَيْهِ». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: A man was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it was said to him that he was still asleep until the morning when he got up to pray. He said: “That is a man who has lost his mind.” The devil is in his ear” or he said: “in his ears.” (agreed)
