Hadith #38514
قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي بالليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة. خمس ركعات بين الثلاث عشرة ركعة. والتشهد في أي ركعة بينهما إلا الركعة الأخيرة. لم يجلس (البخاري ومسلم) [1]
He said, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to perform thirteen rak'at prayers at night (during Tahajjud). Five rak'ats between the thirteen rak'ats. And to recite Tashahhud in any rak'at in between (the five rak'ats) except the last rak'at. did not sit (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
