وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّىْ جَالِسًا فَيَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَإِذَا بَقِيَ مِنْ قِرَاءَتِه قَدْرُ مَا يَكُوْنُ ثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ ايَةً قَامَ وَقَرَأَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ يَفْعَلُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِثْلَ ذلِكَ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Aisha: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray sitting, and he would recite while sitting, so if there remained from his recitation, as much as thirty or For forty verses, he stood up and recited while standing, then he bowed, then prostrated, then he did the same in the second rak’ah. Narrated by Muslim
