Hadith #38809
وعن أبي قتادة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ "‏ إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فلا يجلس حتى يصلي ركعتين‏"‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Qatada, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If one of you enters the mosque, he should not sit until he has prayed two rak’ahs.” (Agreed upon)
