Hadith #38821
On the authority of Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with him, he said: I prayed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, one night, and he opened Al-Baqarah, and I said: He should bow at the hundred, then he went on, and I said: He should pray with it in a rak’ah, so he went on, and I said: He should kneel with it, then he opened with Al-Nisa and recited it, then he opened with Al-Imran, so he recited it, reciting slowly. If he came across a verse in which there is praise, he glorified, and if he asked a question, and if He passed by Ta'widha Ta'widha, then he bowed down and began to say: Glory be to my Lord the Great, and it was His bowing is similar to his standing, then he said: God hears whoever praises Him, our Lord, praise be to You. Then he stood for a long time, close to what he bowed, then he prostrated and said: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, so his prostration was close to his standing. ((Narrated by Muslim)).
