Hadith #39088
وعنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:
"يتركون المدينة على خير ما كانت، لا يغشاها إلا العوافي -يريد: عوافي السباع والطير، وآخر من يحشر راعيان من مزينة يريدان المدينة ينعقان بغنمهما فيجدانها وحوشاً، حتى إذا بلغا ثنية الوداع خراً على وجوههما" ((متفق عليه)).
On his authority, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say:
“They leave the city as good as it was, and only the Awafi invade it - he means: the Awafi of wild animals and birds, and the last to be gathered are two shepherds from Muzainah who go to Medina, crowing at their sheep and finding them as beasts, until when they reach Thaniyat Al-Wada’, they fall on their faces” ((Agreed upon)).
