وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ: «اللَّحْدُ لَنَا وَالشَّقُّ لَغَيْرِنَا» رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “The lahad is for us and the hardship is for others.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah.
