Hadith #39749
On the authority of Amra bint Abdul Rahman that she said: I heard Aisha and it was mentioned to her that Abdullah bin Omar says: The dead person is tortured because of his crying. The living upon him says: May God forgive Abu Abdul Rahman, but he did not lie, but rather he forgot or made a mistake. Rather, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, passed by. He cried over a Jewish woman, and he said: “They will weep over her and she will be tortured in her grave.” (agreed)
