Hadith #39923
وَعَنْ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ ﷺ حَدَّثَ: «أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: وَاللّٰهِ لَا يَغْفِرُ اللّٰهُ لِفُلَانٍ وَأَنَّ اللّٰهَ تَعَالٰى قَالَ: مَنْ ذَا الَّذِىْ يَتَأَلّٰى عَلَىَّ أَنِّىْ لَا أَغْفِرُ لِفُلَانٍ فَإِنِّىْ قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِفُلَانٍ وَأَحْبَطْتُ عَمَلَكَ». أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
And on the authority of Jundub, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, narrated: “A man said: By God, God will not forgive so-and-so, and God Almighty said: Who He is the one who says to me that I will not forgive so-and-so, for I have forgiven so-and-so and I have thwarted your work.” Or as he said.
