وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُوْمٍ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ إِنَّ الْمَدِينَةَ كَثِيرَةُ الْهَوَامِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ وَأَنَا ضَرِيْرُ الْبَصَرِ فَهَلْ تَجِدُ لِي مِنْ رُخْصَةٍ؟ قَالَ: هَلْ تَسْمَعُ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: فَحَيَّهَلَا . وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لَه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
On the authority of Abdullah bin Umm Maktoum, he said: O Messenger of God, the city is full of vermin and wild beasts, and I am blind. Can you find something for me? A license? He said: Do you hear Hail to the prayer, Hail to the farmer? He said: Yes. He said: So he greeted her. He did not permit him. Narrated by Abu Dawood And Al-Nasa’i
