Hadith #40090
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ فَرَآنَا حَلَقًا فَقَالَ: «مَالِيْ أَرَاكُمْ عِزِينَ؟» ثُمَّ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ: أَلَا تَصُفُّوْنَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَا؟ فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَا؟ قَالَ: يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْأُولى وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفّ . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Jabir bin Samurah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us, saw us, and said: “Why do I see you so poor?” Then he came out to us and said: Do you not line up as the angels line up before their Lord? So we said: O Messenger of God, how do the angels line up before their Lord? He said: They complete the rows The first and they line up in line. Narrated by Muslim
