Hadith #39734
On the authority of Malik bin Hubayra, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “There is no Muslim who dies and three rows of Muslims pray over him except It is obligatory.” So, when the people of the funeral procession departed, Malik used to divide them into three rows, according to this hadith. Narrated by Abu Dawud, and in Al-Tirmidhi’s narration: He said: If Malik bin Hubayra prayed the funeral prayer and the people gathered around it, he would reward them in three parts. Then he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Whoever prays It is obligatory to have three rows.” Ibn Majah narrated something similar
