Hadith #40021
قال: أمرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم (في حجة الوداع) أن أرعى الهدي، وأن أقسم لحومها وجلودها، وألا أعطي الجزار شيئا. قال نحن لنا سأدفع له من نفسي. (البخاري ومسلم) [1]
He said, The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered me (on the farewell Hajj) to take care of the sacrificial camels, to distribute their meat (gosat/gosht), hides and skins (among the poor) and not to give anything to the butcher. He said, we are ours I will pay him (the butcher) from myself. (Bukhari and Muslim) [1]
