Hadith #40172
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ خُطْبَتَانِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا يَقْرَأ الْقُرْانَ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ فَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُه قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُه قَصْدًا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Jabir bin Samurah, he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, had two sermons, during which he sat reading the Qur’an and reminding the people, so his prayer was intentional. I got engaged to him on purpose. Narrated by Muslim
