Hadith #40171
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ: يَحْضُرُ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ: فَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا بِلَغْوٍ فَذلِكَ حَظُّه مِنْهَا. وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا بِدُعَاءٍ فَهُوَ رَجُلٌ دَعَا اللّهَ إِنْ شَاءَ أَعْطَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ مَنَعَه. وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَه بِإِنْصَاتٍ وَسُكُوتٍ وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ رَقَبَةَ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُؤْذِ أَحَدًا فَهِيَ كَفَّارَةٌ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الَّتِىْ تَلِيهَا وَزِيَادَةِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَذلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللّهَ يَقُولُ: ﴿مَنْ جَاۤءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهٗ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا﴾ [الأنعام 6 : 160] رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Three people attend Friday prayer: A man attended it with idle talk, so that is his portion of it. And a man who attends it with a supplication is a man who supplicates to God. If He wills, He will give it to him, and if He wills, He will withhold it. A man attended him with attentiveness and silence, and he did not go beyond the neck of a Muslim and did not Whoever harms anyone, it is an expiation for the following Friday and an additional three days. This is because God says: “Whoever does a good deed, it will belong to him.” Ten times as much.” [Al-An’am 6: 160] Narrated by Abu Dawud
