On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: Whenever the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw something from the sky, meaning the clouds, he would leave his work and face it and say: “Oh God I seek refuge in You from the evil of what is in it.” If it was cleared, he would praise God, and if it was raining, he would say: “O God, provide beneficial watering.” Narrated by Abu Dawood Al-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah, and Al-Shafi’i, and the wording is his.
