Hadith #40528
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ "‏ بني الإسلام على خمس‏:‏ شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدًا رسول الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وحج البيت، وصوم رمضان‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Islam is built on five things: testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing the Hajj to the House, and fasting Ramadan” ((Agreed upon)).
