Hadith #40534
وعن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنهما، قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يتخلل من ناحية إلى ناحية، يمسح صدورنا ومناكبنا ويقول،‏:‏ ‏"‏لا تختلفوا فتختلف قلوبكم‏"‏ وكان يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏إن الله وملائكته يصلون على الصفوف الأُول‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to move from one side to another, stroking our chests and shoulders and saying: “Do not differ, lest your hearts differ.” And he used to say: “Indeed, God and His angels pray in the first rows” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with a good chain of transmission)).
