وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي من الليل مثنى مثنى، ويوتر بركعة من آخر الليل، ويصلي الركعتين قبل صلاة الغداة، وكأن الأذان بأذنيه". ((متفق عليه)).
On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to pray two rak’ahs at night, and pray Witr with one rak’ah at the end of the night, and pray the two rak’ahs before the morning prayer, and it was as if the call to prayer was in his ears. ((Agreed upon)).
