Hadith #40557
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏إذا بقي نصف من شعبان فلا تصوموا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “If half of Shaban remains, do not fast” ((Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and said it is a good and authentic hadith)).
