Hadith #40580
وعن أبي سعيد رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ما من عبد يصوم يومًا في سبيل الله إلا باعد الله بذلك اليوم وجهه عن النار سبعين خريفًا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Abu Saeed, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no servant who fasts a day for the sake of God except that on that day God will distance his face from the Fire by seventy distances.” (Agreed upon)
