Hadith #40599
On the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, he said: We were with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: “Is one of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds every day?” So a questioner from among his companions asked him: How do he earn a thousand good deeds? He said: “He recites the glorification of God a hundred times, and a thousand good deeds are recorded for him, or a thousand sins are removed from him” ((Narrated by Muslim). Al-Humaidi said: This is how it is in the book of Muslim: ((or degrades)) Al-Barqani said: It was narrated by Shu’bah and Abu Awana, and Yahya Al-Qattan, on the authority of Musa, which was narrated by Muslim on his part, and they said: ((and degrades)) without an alif.
