Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #45937
Hadith #45937
On the authority of Saeed bin Al-Harith, he asked Jabir, may God be pleased with him, about performing ablution on food that had touched fire, and he said: No, at the time of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, we would not find such food except a little, and when we did find it, we would have no napkins except for our palms, forearms, and feet, and then we would pray and not perform ablution.
