Hadith #45954
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he forbade a man from drinking while standing. Qatada said: So we said to Anas: What about eating? He said: That is more evil - or more insidious -. And in his narration, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, discouraged drinking while standing. ((Narrated by Muslim)) In his narration, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, discouraged drinking while standing
