Hadith #45990
وعن على رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أخذ حريراً، فجعله في يمينه، وذهباً فجعله في شماله، ثم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏إن هذين حرام على ذكور أمتي‏"‏‏.‏((رواه أبو داود))
On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, taking silk and placing it in his right hand, and gold and placing it in his left, then he said: “These two are forbidden to the males of my nation.” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud))
