Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46018

Hadith #46018
وعن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنهُ قال، قال رَسُول اللَّهِ ﷺ: "ما من قوم يقومون من مجلس ولا يذكرون اللَّه تعالى فيه إلا قاموا عن مثل جيفة حمار وكان لهم حسرة" ((رَوَاهُ أبُو دَاوُدَ بإسناد صحيح)).
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There are no people who rise from a gathering and do not mention God Almighty therein except that they rise up from something like the carcass of a donkey, and they will be saddened” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission)).
