Hadith #46057
عن كلدة بن الحنبل رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فدخلت عليه ولم أسلم، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ارجع فقل السلام عليكم أأدخل‏؟‏‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود، والترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Kalada ibn al-Hanbal, may God be pleased with him, he said: I came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and I entered upon him but did not greet him. Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Come back and say peace be upon you. May I come in?” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi and said: It is a good hadith.))
