Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46346

On the authority of Al-Baraa, may God be pleased with him, he said: A man masked with iron came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said, “O Messenger of God, should I fight or become a Muslim?” He said: “He became a Muslim, then fought.” So he became a Muslim, then he fought and was killed. Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Work a little and be rewarded a lot.” (Agreed upon, and this is the wording of Al-Bukhari)).
