Hadith #46355
وعن أبي حماد- ويقال: أبو سعاد، ويقال: أبو أسد، ويقال: أبو عامر، ويقال: أبو عمرو، ويقال: أبو الأسود، ويقال: أبو عبس- عقبة بن عامر الجهني، رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو على المنبر يقول: “وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ألا إن القوة الرمي، ألا إن القوة الرمي، ألا إن القوة الرمي". ((رواه مسلم)).
وعنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "ستفتح عليكم أرضون ويكفيكم الله فلا يعجز أحدكم أن يلهو بأسهمه" ((رواه مسلم)).
On the authority of Abu Hammad - and it is said: Abu Suad, and it is said: Abu Asad, and it is said: Abu Aamer, and it is said: Abu Amr, and it is said: Abu Al-Aswad, and it is said: Abu Abbas - Uqba bin Aamer Al-Juhani, may God be pleased with him, said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was on the pulpit, saying: “And prepare against them whatever strength you are able. Power is throwing.” ((Narrated by Muslim)). On his authority, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Lands will be opened to you, and God is sufficient for you, so none of you will be unable to play with your arrows” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
