Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46504

Hadith #46504
وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ لكل غادر لواء عند استه يوم القيامة يرفع له بقدر غدره، ألا لا غادر أعظم غدرًا من أمير عامة‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Every traitor will have a banner at his stand on the Day of Resurrection that will be raised for him in proportion to his treachery. Indeed, there is no traitor greater in treachery than the commander of the general public” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
