Hadith #46514
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ كنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سفر، فانطلق لحاجته، فرأينا حمرة معها فرخان، فأخذنا فرخيها، فجاءت الحمرة فجعلت تعرش فجاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏من فجع هذه بولدها‏؟‏ ردوا ولدها إليها‏"‏ ورأى قرية نمل قد حرقناها، فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏من حرق هذه‏؟‏‏"‏ قلنا‏:‏ نحن‏.‏ قال‏:‏ ‏"‏إنه لا ينبغي أن يعذِّب بالنار إلا رب النار‏"‏‏.‏ قوله‏:‏ ‏ ‏قرية نمل‏ ‏ معناه‏:‏ موضع النمل مع النمل.‏
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: We were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a journey, and he set off for his needs, and we saw a red pig with two chicks, so we took her two chicks. “This?” We said: “We.” He said: “He should not torture By the Fire except the Lord of the Fire.” His saying: “An anthill” means: a place of ants with ants.
