Hadith #46707
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ طَلْقَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، هُوَ جَدُّهُ، قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِصَبِيٍّ فَقَالَتِ‏:‏ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ، فَقَدْ دَفَنْتُ ثَلاَثَةً، فَقَالَ‏:‏ احْتَظَرْتِ بِحِظَارٍ شَدِيدٍ مِنَ النَّارِ‏.‏
Ali bin Abdullah told us, he said: Hafs bin Ghayath told us, he said: I heard Talq bin Muawiyah, he is his grandfather, he said: I heard Abu Zur’ah, On the authority of Abu Hurairah, that a woman brought a boy to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Pray to God for him, for I have buried three, so he said: She was kept tightly protected from the fire.
