حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: لِلْمَمْلُوكِ طَعَامُهُ وَكِسْوَتُهُ، وَلاَ يُكَلَّفُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا لاَ يُطِيقُ.
Abdullah bin Yazid told us, he said: Saeed bin Abi Ayyub told us, he said: Ibn Ajlan told me, on the authority of Bukayr bin Abdullah, on the authority of Ajlan, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The slave has his own food and clothing, and he should not be assigned more work than he can bear.
