حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، أَنَّ عَجْلاَنَ أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَهُ قُبَيْلَ وَفَاتِهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: لِلْمَمْلُوكِ طَعَامُهُ وَكِسْوَتُهُ، وَلاَ يُكَلَّفُ إِلاَّ مَا يُطِيقُ.
Abdullah told us, he said: Al-Layth told me, he said: Ibn Ajlan told me, on the authority of Bukayr, that Ajlan Abu Muhammad spoke to him before his death, He heard Abu Hurairah say: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The slave has his own food and clothing, and he is not assigned anything except what he can bear.
